| 03-Nov-2009 Omaxe prepays its entire Indiabulls debt Of Rs 300 crore Omaxe, the leading real estate developer with pan-India presence prepaid its debt of Rs 300 crore to Indiabulls Financial Services. Omaxe made a pre payment of the outstanding amount and cleared the entire debt more than a year ahead of its scheduled period. Omaxe had availed a term facility of Rs 300 crore from Indiabulls Financial Services on 04 Dec 2007 for a period of three years ending on 04 December 2010. The company had prepaid Rs 201 crore, from time to time, by March 2009. Now, the balance Rs 990mn is pre-paid ahead of its scheduled period. 03-Nov-2009 Sayaji Hotels opens second and final phase of its Pune hotel On 03 November 2009 Sayaji Hotels has annoucned that the second and final phase (comprising of 156 rooms) of the Company's Pune hotel has been opened for commercial use on 03 November 2009. The hotel, located at Mumbai-Bangalore Bypass Highway, Wakad, Pune, comprises of 256 rooms in all, out of which 100 rooms were launched earlier on 28 March 2009 in the first phase. With this launch, all the rooms are now fully operational and available for commercial Use.This hotel is the third hotel owned by the Company to become operational. The stake has been bought from Flughafen Zuerich AG for the consideration of Rs 484.59 crore. Apart from this, the company has also entered into a Strategic Alliance Agreement (SAA) with Unique Airports Worldwide AG (Zurich Airport) to collaborate for new airport projects in Indian sub-continent, as indicated in its filing with the NSE. GVK Power & Infrastructure, part of the GVK Group, is engaged in infrastructure development in areas of power, airports and roads. 06-Nov-2009 Cinemax India unveils its five-screen multiplex at Nashik Cinemax India, one of the largest exhibition theatre chains in India, has said that it has unveiled its new five-screen multiplex at City Centre Mall, Nashik, Maharashtra on Friday. The multiplex, having capacity of 1,016 seats including 117 recliner seats, was opened for patrons with screening of block buster movies ‘Jail’ and 'Ajab Prem Ki Gjazab Kahani’. Following this launch, the company’s theater properties count has increased to 26 which include 83 screens and 21,896 seats. In September 2009, the Mumbai-based company had launched its four-screen multiplex, at Cinemax-R Mall Odeon situated near Vallabh Baug Lane, Ghatkopar. |
